Enjoy the fine art photographs by clicking on the image of your choice.
Naturally, they are for sale.
Each print is a limited
photograph printed by ink jet printers and with archival ink called Giclee
Printing. If cared for properly, these images should have a print life of at
least 175 years. If a print is laminated and box mounted the lifetime of the
print will exceed that amount of time due to the ultraviolet coating in the
lamination.
A price list is enclosed. I began making photographic images in 1977. It was
after a 35-day excursion at sea, while working on Barge-136, that I felt
compelled to continue making photographs.
All the images on the website are 35 mm color
negatives, transparencies or black and white negatives. They can be printed
up 30x40 or made any size smaller.
My latest body of work is a work in progress called "Photo in a Photo." Some
are included on my portfolio page. I have several black and white images in my
fine art collection. A list of
subjects photographed is also included, as
well as a biography.

I was born in Orange County and was raised overseas in the oilfields of
Saudi Arabia. This experience was a profound influence on my life. The move
from the Middle East and Europe (where I attended boarding school in
Switzerland) lead to the translation of my life experiences into
photographic reality. My roots are in photojournalism and documentary
photography.
I
studied art at Arizona State University, where I completed my Bachelor of
Fine Art undergraduate degree in 1983. And I attained my Master of Arts in
Journalism at the University of Arizona in 1992.
I have been making
more experimental pieces of work I label "Photo-Expressionism."
I wrote the “Manifesto
of Photo-Expressionism” in Kingman, Arizona in 1998.
Photo-expressionism is a combination of collage, montage, sculpture and
assemblage. It is my version of modern art colliding with photography. The
most important part of this form of self-expression is the use of my own
photographs as a basis to the finished piece.
Thank you
and enjoy!
