1977 - April-May, sail 35 days on B-136

 

The 80's

1981 - Enroll in Arizona Sate University fine art program

1982 - Alternative Photography Exhibition, Harry Wood Art Gallery, Arizona State University

1983 - First place for "Black Man on a Bench," Annual Student Photography Contest, ASU.

1983 - Graduate from Arizona State University with BFA-Photo

1984 - Honorable mention for "Michael and his Dog,", Tempe Daily News photo contest

1984 - One person exhibit, "Urban Phoenix," Moon's Gallery/Restaurant, Tempe, Arizona

1984 - Honorable mention for "Earl," in Arizona Magazine photo contest

1986 - Enroll at Plaza Three Academy, commercial photography program, Phoenix, Arizona

1986 - Join M.A.R.S. Art Gallery co-op, Phoenix, Arizona

1986 - Four black and white images displayed in "La Phoeniquera," M.A.R.S. Art Space

1986 - Three black and white images from Special Olympics displayed in Photo Expo One, Scottsdale, Arizona

1986 - One person exhibit, Le Voyeur, of Ambient Series, La Fina Cocina, Phoenix, Arizona

1990 - Begin Master Arts program, University of Arizona

1991 - Commission by Pima County Department of Environmental Quality for historic air quality project

1992 - Graduate with MA Journalism, University of Arizona

1993 - Judge photography contest Yavapai County Fair, Prescott, Arizona

1994 - Exhibit "The Landscape is More Powerful Than I," 20-16x20 Ilfochrome prints, Raku Gallery, Jerome, Arizona

1994 - Attend Bishop Photographic Workshop with Bruce Barnbaum, Jay Dusard and Huntington Wetherhill

1994 - One Ilfochrome print from "The Landscape is More Powerful Than I," exhibited in the Prescott Fine Art Association "Vision Southwest"

1994 - Seven Ilfochrome prints from "The Landscape is More Powerful Than I," exhibited at Wedge on the Edge Gallery/Restaurant, Jerome, Arizona

1995 - First place in photography for one black and white print "Street Walk,", Prescott Fine Arts Association, "Vision Southwest"

1995 - One image of Ambient Series printed in Camera & Darkroom Magazine

1996 - Acquired $3,000 grant from the Arizona Humanities Council while photo-archivist for the Jerome Historical Society for Smithsonian Institute traveling exhibit SITES

1997 - Complete Indian School Road assignment for November issue Phoenix Magazine (Long Road Between Two Dry Places)

1997 - 40 black anfd white prints, "Long Road Between Two Dry Places," exhibited at 11 E. Ashland Gallery, Phoenix, Arizona

1997 - Exhibit one collage/assemblage piece "Inside Earl's Mind," in Prescott Fine Art Association called Photo-Expression

1998 - Exhibit "Long Road Between Two Dry Places," Eco-Cafe, Cottonwood, Arizona

1998 - Exhibit four Ilfochrome images of "Photo in a Photo," and six Photo-Expression pieces in 11 E. Ashland group show with Jack Stuhler, Allen Dutton, Frank Mell and David Cook called "Artists, Friends and Mentors"

1999 - Complete The Manifesto of Photo-Expression

1999 - Honorable mention for one black and white image "Problems," in Alligator Juniper, Prescott College national publication of art and poetry

2002 – Honorable Mention for “Indian Cuisine” for Enisen Publishing photography contest, Glendale, California 

2002 – Two Photo in a Photo images; “He’s Watching You,” and “This is America; Keep It Free,” published in LIA Art Magazine

2002 – Staff Photographer, Wyoming Homes and Living Magazine, Casper, Wyoming 

2003 – Sabbatical 

2004 – One black and white image “Arrows” published in the July issue of the The Sun Magazine 

2005 – Establish 5057 Productions in Cottonwood, Arizona
